Isla is the creator of Isla Skye Herbals – Mossy Oak Farm Co. She’s a mother, teacher, author and herbalist. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education as well as multiple certifications in herbalism and nutrition. She started creating custom tea blends as well as a course series as a means to organize and share her best medicinal blends as well as thoughts about life and more natural living. She enjoys living in closeness and reciprocal relationship with the rich natural ecology that surrounds each of us as well as uplifting and centering groups and people that are making positive changes in the world such as the Indigenous Environmental Network. She still teaches in the public school system and enjoys exploring re-wilding both in our physical environments, through native planting and edible landscaping as well as on a more personal level. She enjoys gardening, camping, hiking and all sorts of crafts, music and art.


Kai Siedenburg is a deep nature connection guide, Ecotherapist, and poet who is passionate about helping people connect with nature as a path to greater peace, joy, and balance in their lives and in the world. She loves to empower people to find simple ways to connect with the Earth in daily life, to cultivate deeper bonds with wild places, and to access nature-based healing. A pioneer in integrating nature awareness and mindfulness as a path to mind-body wellness, she offers group programs, individual sessions, and consulting services through Our Nature Connection. She is the author of two books: Poems of Earth and Spirit: 70 Poems and 40 Practices to Deepen Your Connection with Nature, and Space Between the Stones: Poetry and Practices for Connecting with Nature, Spirit, and Creativity. Kai loves to find herself out on the Earth, in her garden, in water, or on the dance floor, and aspires to touch the Earth with her hands or bare feet nearly every day.
